Question: How do I change the Time on my System?

Solution:

DX— 80         Software Revision F32 and Later   From the attendant station or a phone with attendant password:

1. Press Feature #0 from the telephone dial pad.  You will be prompted to enter the Tenant Group number.  This is typically 1, however it can be set for Tenant Group 1-3.

2. Press  Save and enter in the attendant password (default is 0000), then press show.

3. Press the Next option until the display prompts you for the System Time.  Press Show.

4. The last 2 digits of the year will be displayed.  If you do not need to change the year, press Next.  If you need to change this value,   press Chg, enter in two digits for the year and press Save then Next.

5. The current month setting will be displayed.  If you do not need to change the month, press Next.  If you need to change this value, press Chg to cycle through the  12 months.  When you reach the appropriate setting, press Next.

6. The display will show the currently programmed day of the month.  If you do not need to change the date, press Next.  If you need to  change this value, press Chg, enter in two digits for the date and press save then Next.

7. The day of the week (Sat.—Sun) will not be displayed.  If you do not need to change the day, press Next.  If you need to change this value, press Chg to cycle through the days of the week.  When you reach the appropriate setting, press Next.

8. The current hour will be displayed.  Press Chg and enter in two digits for the hour in military format.  Press Save and Next.

9. The display will not show the programmed minutes.  If you don not need to change the minutes, press Next.  If you need to change this value, press Chg and enter in two digits for the minutes (01-59). Press Save then Next.

10. You will be returned to the top level off System Time.  To exact Attendant Administration, press On/Off button twice.

Software Revision F2x From any telephone:

1. Press Feature # * and enter in your password. (Default password ########).

2. Press Show and enter 08 14.

3. Press Save then Show.

4. The option to change the Year will appear. If you do not need to change the year, press Next. If  you need to change this value, press

             Chg, enter in two digits for the year and press Save then Next.

2. Chg, enter in two digits for the month and press Save then  Next.

3. The option to change the Day will appear. If you do not need to change the date, press Next. If you need to change this value, press Chg enter in two digits for the date and press Save then Next.

4. The option to change the Weekday will appear. If you do not need to change the weekday, press  Next. If you need to change this value, press Chg, to select the weekday, and press Next.

5. The option to change the Hour will appear. Press Chg and enter in two digits for the hour in military format. Press Save then Next.

6. The option to change the Minutes will appear. Press Chg and enter in two digits for the minutes and press Save.

7. Press the On/Off button to take the phone out of programming mode.

Question: How do I change the MAIN greeting?

Solution:

1. Press the voice mail button

2. When asked for password, hit pound #.

3. When you hear the greeting, select pound # again.

4. It will ask for your box number, select 70.

5. It will ask for your password, it is 70.

6. When the mailbox menu starts, select 6 for Supervisor Functions.

7. Select 2 for Routing Box Administration.

8. When asked for the box number, select 800.

9. Select 1 to confirm the box number.

10. To modify the greeting, select 3.

11. Select 1 to change the greeting (If is asks for greeting number, select * for the current active greeting).

12. Select 1 to play the current greeting or 2 to re-record you greeting (If it asks for greeting number, select*).  When you are finished, press the #key to stop recording.

13. Repeat step 12 until you are satisfied with the greeting.

14. Press # to return to the main menu and then press the on/off button to end the session.

Question: I have a flashing HOLD light on my phone, how do I clear it?

Solution:

 1.          Press the Intercom button, then press the Hold button.

2.           This will cause a phone on the system to ring. Use this ringing phone as a marker of the phone you will need to go to. You do not need to        answer that phone, however you will need to go to that phone and perform the following while it is in and idle state.

 3.          Press the Intercom button and dial#3 followed by the extensions number of the phone with the flashing Hold light.
